Function
PEZA_STRPN Antitoxin component of a toxin-antitoxin (TA) module. Upon expression in E.coli neutralizes the toxic effect of cognate toxin PezT. Represses transcription of its own operon, PezT acts as a corepressor, considerably increasing repression.[1] [2]
